I've made a number of birdhouses from bird books, and one from architecture books. While the form could be created from just about any titles, I don't see the point. The woven feather "shingles" repeat on both front and back covers of the roof.
Aprox. 14" high. Not for outdoor or avian use.

Lost, May, 2012, recovered and repaired, Fall 2012. Book roof is now an intact copy of Audobon's, "Birds of America," which may be removed for reading.
